Oxnard
Congratulations to the JV Tigers on completing an undefeated season with a 23-0 victory over a talented and well-disiplined Yellow Jacket team last night. The execution of offensive, defensive, and special teams play by this young St. X. team has been a pleasure to behold all season long. It has been many years since I have witnessed such outstanding pursuit to the ball. Coaches Shutte and Harris have done an excellent job developing the players talents to be all that they can be. Although it was great having victories over our normal major adversaries, Male, Manual, and Trinity, the most pleasing victory was the 31-4 romp over Cincinnati Moeller. When these same two teams met on the Freshman level last year, the Crusaders dealt the Baby Bengals a 30-point spanking, which turned out to be St. X.'s only only Freshman loss. What a fantastic reversal! :ylsuper: JOB WELL DONE, ST. X. JV's!! :ylsuper:

Old Corps
Congratulations to the St. X players, coaches, managers, and trainers. It is quite a feat to go undefeated through your Sophmore season at ST. X, but the way you did it is even more impressive. The defense allowed only 46 points while the offense scored 268 points. Stay together and keep working hard in practice to help the team through the remainder of the season.
