The ref's were terrible. I have to question there ability to ref tonight. I really hope this crew doesn't get any playoff games besides a 1 vs. 4. Beware of this crew. Short guy is the head official.

As usual at Mossy Bottom

Fairview played a good game, its like any other place in the state they do not have to pick the officials.

No doubt that Fairview played well; they are a tough football team.

 

I'm referring to the 11 penalties for 104 yards (including 2 TDs called back & several other "drive changers"), which was WAY over their norm.

 

Now it's theoretically possible that LCA was much sloppier this game vs. the other 8 games this season.....................but I wouldn't put my money on that.

Like Fairview (Mossy Bottom)has a lot of political influence.

Get real, LCA won the game.

Fairview played hard and had a good game. LCA was a little sloppy but played hard also. The holding penalties were real and there were several more that could have been called. I thought the 2 pass interferences, one against Fairview and one against LCA, were iffy but close enough to be called. The refs weren't bad. Hayden wasn't used much in the first half and went out in the 3rd with a sprain. The QB is a heck of a ball player for LCA. I thought it was just a hard fought district game and both sides have reasons to be proud of their effort and some things to work on for the playoffs. Fairview has been under everyone's radar all year but they have a nice team. They have the potential to beat anyone they play. LCA is really athletic and have good team speed. They execute well. It will be an interesting playoff with LCA, Raceland, and Fairview all showing they can play with each other.

LCA keeps winning surprised they didn't score more there, they have one of the best offenses in the state imo.

Fairview has a pretty good defense and a very good coaching staff. Listened to some of the game comming back from Maysville. LCA jumped out early but Fairview didn't give up.

As far as penalties, if you don't want flagged don't commit them.
