PRP vs Trinity Freshman

Featured Replies

What I know is from PRP's football is from their website(which by the way is the best high school football website that I've seen. The website is very professionally done. The freshman's section has many of the players pictures, ht, wt, etc.) The message board on the website said the the score was 30-13 in favor of PRP. PRP also beat a tough Ballard team in their first game 28-14. PRP's loss to Butler is when all the freshmen at Butler were playing freshmen football and not varsity.I have not heard of any specifics of games this year. I had heard of Willie Northington from youth league football. The website lists him as 5' 8" and 165 pounds. He is listed as a RB/DB. He is very fast from what I remember from youth football. His Dad played sports (at the college level?) and was very fast I believe.

Homerun, you may be talking about Nat Northington who played at the old Thomas Jefferson High in Louisville in the late 60s, I believe, and then went on to play at UK.

Yes, that's the Northington that I remember. I do not know if Nat Northington is his father, or a relative; but I thought I was told at one time that they were related.

I tried to search and find out a little bit about Nat Northington to refresh my memory, and I found some very interesting information. He was a real trailblazer, being the first Black football player to play in the SEC. I was hoping to find out a little bit more about him as a player as well.

The St.X vs. PRP frosh game this week should be a great game.

What is Trinity's freshmen record this year? I know they lost to Boyle, X, Moeller and now PRP. Did the game against Reitz get played? Looks like Elder is still on the schedule as well.

Not trying to flame, but what's going on with the freshmen Rocks this year? Looks like they could end up at .500 or worse on the year. I thought I had heard about some injuries to some talented players, so is quality depth an issue?

They also lost to Lex Cath. I haven't heard a score from the Evansville Reitz game. They defeated Butler and Central. They are either 2-6 or 3-5, depending on the Evansville game.

I know Reitz's freshmen team was beating most everyone they played pretty badly, but didn't know the Trinity score. Their varsity went undefeated this year.

I understand that PRP knocked four Shamrocks out of the game with concussions.

Ouch!!! These Panthers must be hitters. I'm sure they'd love to sweep T and X...anyone know when a public school last did that at the freshman level?
