I am obviously for the Rams but just wanted to say that prayers going up that BOTH teams stay injury free in this one and may the fans and Nicholas Co. team have safe travels to and your return home from Raceland Friday night.. :thumb:

This thread is rediculous... I'll partake in the discussion at hand. Raceland better be careful... Nicholas is better than previous years. Comparing them on film was like apples and oranges from previous years to this year. I really respect both programs and expect a war in this one. As usual... whoever travels usually has some lag. Raceland is so well coached it's tough to bet against them. Good luck to both programs!

 

As for the racial slurs, outbursts, lack of control by the staff, Bourbon Co... leave that for the watercoolers or start a thread ladies and gentlemen. This Thread is Raceland/Nicholas... want to discuss the program at Paris, my office is down at Blanton Collier.

ParisPride you are absolutley correct, Nicholas is a whole lot better than the years past but can you honestly say they have a legitimate shot at beating a full strength Raceland team??? To be honest with you it will be a good game but i don't see anyone stoping Bret Denton the wonderbeast. This whole game is on the shoulders of whoever plays quarterback for Nicholas, if he steps it up it will be close but if he has a sub par game you people better get used to hearing our fire engines!!!! GO RAMS!!

Thank You Paris Pride we have the same respect for you guys as well. As for the game at Raceland it should be a good one. The Coaches at Raceland are a class act and do a outstanding job. Nicholas has been struggling the past few weeks and the injury to #11 the Q.B. hurts but their back up is very capable of getting the job done. Good luck to both teams.

 

Welcome to bgp Bigdog :thumb: and this is avery good post. Raceland knows full well what Nicholas brings to Ram Stadium Friday night. The Blue Jackets are a Much improved team that will play hard the entire game.

The NCHS coaches are obviously doing a fine job.

I now that the Raceland coaches are in no way overlooking this one and if our kids/players do then they will be looking a big fat 'L" at the end of the game.

"On paper" Raceland should win this one. But games are played on Friday nights, not on paper.

Wonderbeast give me a break. He is a decent running back nothing like Thomas at Ashland or even Abrams at Russell. He got yards against a terrible Paintsville team. He is a good high school player that must be stopped I agree but he doesn't strike fear like other RB's.

If not from the RB position that he is very good then I would say that he may have something to say about other RB's from his LB position . Denton is an excellent LB as well.:thumb:

REMEMBER......Raceland will play you all again.......And that was a bad comment to make about a KID.

The only time this will be a close game is before the coin toss when its 0-0. I just dont see anybody of NC stopping Denton.
