Sorry this is a bit tardy gang--I was stuck on jury watch in Bullitt County.

 

This week's KNN Scoreboard Show/Bluegrass Preps.com Player Of The Week is Trimble Co's QB/LB Justin Hawkes. In the Raiders 36-23 win against Carroll Co, Justin scored 3 TDs rushing and had 95 rushing yards on just 9 carries. Justin was alsio 8-14 for 131 yds. On defense, he had an interception AND made 13 tackles, including 3 sacks.

Well deserved! Congrats to this young man and his teammates!

I personally think that it would be nearly impossible to keep up with lineman stats. Especially at the smaller schools. Now I could see naming a school with the O-Line of the week. By allowing no sacks getting so many yards on the ground. That could be accomplished but as far as individual I think that would require too much research.

Casey Hayes from Rockcastle Co. He had 15 carries for 179 yards and had 4 touchdowns. He is a junior ans weighs about 183 pounds and is 5'6 and play's several positions on defense and offense.
