BGGreen
Congrats to Newport on their first win of the season!! Mustangs continue to work hard, but their lack of size and experience shows up against established teams. Brossart did a better job not giving up the big plays tonight, but Newport very methodical, and simply continued to overpower the young Mustangs!! BB "O" needs to find a way to move the ball and give the "D" a break occasionally. They had one late drive going when the 'Cats finally subbed, but a couple incomplete passes turned it over on downs. Good luck to both the rest of the way.
UK FAN 59
I said it, better athletes and better coaching would prevail. I also said 6 touchdowns. Looks like the light at the end of tunnel is getting brighter for BB.

At least it took the first string to ring up the 7 TDS tonight??
Mustang
I guess that this is a strange question to be asking twenty-four hours after the fact by the guy who did the broadcast play-by-play but who was the Newport quarterback last night??? My roster showed #14 to be 6'3" junior Brandon Housely. I've since been informed that the Newport QB was a freshman named Nair Jones. If it was Jones, what happened to Housely??? :creepy:
