Beechwood/Bishop Brossart Updates

Beechwood will catch some flack for it but you are right. Sometimes there isn't anything you can do.

That always has made me laugh, when in the past on here people would give a team flack about a HUGE win, yet those people were not even there to see that the team that won big couldn't do anything to keep from scoring.

BB should have had a JV/Frosh program for a few years before going right into varsity and district play. I just hope this idea was the kids, that they wanted to start varsity play now, and not others.

And that would be totally unfair. Beechwood could win 150-0 if they wanted to.

I would have say Beechwood's JV team came in the start of the 2nd.

Beechwood 69

Brossart 0

Absolutely, but it looks bad in the paper and that is all some will see and make an unfair judgement based on that.

All chose to start Varsity play this year. The reason for this was that if they did not start Varsity competition this year than they would not be able to compete at the Varsity level for another 3 years. I know that there were numerous discussions about moving from JV to Varsity and how tough the first few years would be, while this was not an easy move to make I think that those involved felt it was time to make the move. Time will only tell if it was too soon.

It would be unfair, but if this keeps up that could be the score.

It was a difficult decision I'm sure, but the move to 6 classes made it a little easier to decide.

I heard that the Brossart score was off the Beechwood 8th grade and Cheerleaders. I said this would be ugly. It was the AD and his followers that made the jump to Varsity. It takes alot to start a Varsity Program and they were not using their heads.
