That should be a pretty good game with Wheelersburg. The Pirates don't have much size but they more than make up for it with speed.

Can you give directions to Wheelersburg, OH?

Congrats JC..great win on the road.:thumb:

The score is a little closer than I expected, but it sounds like BS scored against the JV late in the game.

Congratulatins to JC on your first disctrict win.

JC looked good in there district opener. Just when you thought JC was going to run the ball, you saw a td pass. Just when you thought JC was going to pass, you saw a td run.

Anybody have any stats?

The Lexington Herald reported this morning that Johnson Central finished the game with 576 total yds compared to Bryan Stations 195 yds. Grimm had 225 yds rushing and 6 TD's, he also had 2 receptions for around 50 yds. JK Ratliff also went 12 of 21 for 263 yds a 2 TD's. Both of his TD's were to Ian Welch who finished the game with 5 catches for 154 yds.

I missed sports overtime last night, does anybody know if they showed any highlights from the game?

My last comment on the game, Bryan Station has a nice field and stadium. But I have never seen a set of bleachers like they had for the visitors. And I have never seen a schools student section surround the visiting teams student section. That was the worst display of sportsmanship I have witnessed. Mr. Whitaker did the right thing by moving the JC's students.

See everybody next week at Wheelersburg, OH!!!

Sports Overtime did have Highlights provided by its sister station WKYT here in lexington. If you have a good broadband or DSL connection, WYMT has the sports overtime broadcast from last night on their website. JC/BS highlights are on segment 5.
