No, they were getting ready to take the Birds to the woodshed...

..pardon me, but THEY were the one's that got "spanked" !!

They didn't get spanked, the game was nearly even.

The "pun" of "spanked" was in reference to the "paddle". The game was extraordinarily exciting up to the last play. Hopefully T-M will learn lessons from the loss and run the table to a title in Ohio...much like the Bird's have done in the past.
