What does McCreary Central need to do to improve in 2007/2008? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Is Aaron Watts still a student here? Or did he transfer?

Watts is still a student there. He is bigger, stronger and faster this year. Put on a show at the Williamsburg football game. He has matured and put on some muscle. I believe the majority of their team is back so I expect Robert Jones to be smiling. They could make a run at the 14th.

Nomorenoless, surely you know that Raider Rob Jones and the Raiders play in the 12th region. You must be spending too much time over at the WYMT tournament or getting that " Old Timers' syndrome..... Wayne County should be the best team in that district with the Raiders losing sleep trying to figure out a way to out fox Rodney Woods and the boys.

That was a brain fart Bubba.

Watts is still there and better than ever. Expect him to lead the region in scoring this year and be one of, if not the best players in the region. The Raiders return most of their scoring, but do lose their size and some rebounding. Leading and second leading rebounder return in Phillips and Watts, but they do lose their size in Gibson and Waters. Expect a line-up along the lines of Swiger, Watts, Phillips, Hale and anyone for the last position, most likely Roark for a 4-5 guard line-up.

Their schedule has been released and I will post it by the begining of the week. They have a real opportunity to have a great record. They have one of the toughest 12th region in-team schedules. Lincoln, East and West Jessamine, Mercer, Pulaski, Somerset and the 48th of S'western and Wayne. Expect high, high scoring games from the Raiders.

McCreary Central is definitely a contender in the 12th.

Can Raider Rob win it all? Or will the Raiders fall to the cards in the district again?

Wayne has been taking their lumps and building this team, IMO they could be the team to beat over a good MC. team, this year.
