Metcalfe County 14 Somerset 7

How many carries did Hughes/Shoemaker get? I didn't see the game and picked it up late in the 4th and from the radio it sounded like Somerset was throwing 3 out of 4 downs. Every time the Jumpers came to the line Berlew was saying Hall in the Gun. Which I understand. So I am wondering how many Carries the 2 big boys got.

Not that much at all in the second half, I don't know the numbers but we had a pretty good mix in the first half but I would guess we didn't run much more than 10 times in the second half. We had 4 or 5 penalties that just seemed to kill us every time we would get moving the ball, they (the penalties) took us out of run situations alot.

Somerset will get it rolling soon they just have to find out what works and what doesn't work. Next game I believe they will put it all together.

Didn't they drop Mercer to play Metcalfe???

Yes, I believe they did.

If they can keep the penalties down and feed these two, then I think they will be in good shape. Good luck next week! They have Casey, right?

How was the conditioning factor for Somerset this week, were they plagued by cramps again??

Maybe one cramp all night, at least that is all I can remember.
