:thumb: :thumb: I was going to suggest that he try that as well, rabbit is great eating. I love it along with all wild game really, even the small game like rabbit, squirrel, dove, quail, pheasant and grouse are delicious.

Hey, I resemble that remark. :lol:

My friend has a whole room in her house to show off her trophy elk. They had to take the window and framing out to get it in the house! I will take some pics and post next time I am over there.

 

The KY record Elk head is mounted and on display at the lodge at Jenny Wiley State park and it is HUGE! There is one mounted over at Hazard City Hall as well and it almost appears to take up half of the wall with 20 foot ceilings! Having them back in KY is just great!

I see elk(s) on the way to school almost EVERY morning, one morning I came around the curve and there are six of them...3 cows a male and 2 younger ones. Do you think they moved? No they just sat there and looked at me, and then when I revved up my car they took off running.... I live in EKY
