Go Vikings!

Just curious how a 5A team gets beat by a 1A team and ends up being 4th in the ranking? Then again it is the ASHLAND daily independent!!! Just an observation.

You are correct.

It is actually the "Daily Independent". They removed the Ashland part some time ago. They are still in love with the Tomcats although. To see the news paper on Saturday morning you would think the Tomcats were the only team in town.

That 5-A team plays a 1-A team again on Friday. Watch the fur fly if our Tomcats loose that one.

I, like the Daily Independent, agree that Russell and Johnson Central are better then them.

Rowan should be 5th....they just beat Fairview in the grid two weeks ago.

Grid? A scrimmage? Can't count that. A couple more wins like last week and Rowan will find their way higher up this poll.

Jeepman, how can anyone from Russell complain about the Independent. They give your Devils plenty of coverage. You can't complain a bit!!!

No one from here complained about anything. Just stating the facts. Personally I have no problem with the Independent. They always do a great job covering Russell in December and throughout the year.

You guys with fur need to relax. Take a deep breath watch the kids win this Friday and move up in the Super Seven. Perhaps jump over Russell and Raceland. Go Tomcats.

Scoreboard was on, officals on the field, coaches off, huge crowd....felt like a game to everyone there..and which Rowan had another shutout through 3. qtr/
