Who will start at QB for CCH against NCC?

Featured Replies

CCH is on their third QB in the LaSalle game. I believe CCH is trying different QBs to see who can do anything with the offense. With all that said, who will start at QB for CCH against NCC?

Did not get to make it to the game.

Who lead the team? Who was able to throw the ball best?

As a team, what can CCH come out of this game and use to improve for the rest of the season and beyond?

Isler looked the best good out there in the 3rd and 4th quarter, making some key throws. Shulte also looked ok going in the in the 2nd and 3rd quarter.

From what I did get to hear on the radio, there weren't too many first downs for CCH. Got to keep the chains moving and keep the defense off the field. It had to be tough for the D to be out on the field for so long in the heat.

It sounded like LaSalle is much tougher than Roger Bacon.

Isler is the QB, atleast today it wasn't even close on who was the better QB

How can it be good to be rotating qbs every week? I was not able to attend the game today, but listened on the radio and it sounded like Isler moved the team the best.

Any offense that is one dimensional (run or pass only) lets the defense key in and stop that one facet.

A passing threat spreads the field out and gives the run game more holes to hit.

A run threat sucks in the linebackers and opens up the passing game.

An offense that controls the ball and time of possession by moving the chains, keeps their defense rested while wearing down the opponent's defense.

No clue. It has been difficult to follow Coach Brossarts thinking on this subject. First it was Isler, then it was Furnish, then it was Weary. Coach Brossart wasted the Roger Bacon srimmage by only looking at one QB. Every time you see a newspaper article, he talks about a different QB. It is time to pick one and ride him. It cannot be good for any of these QBs to not know at this stage of the game where they stand. None of the QBs are what I would call as seasoned veterans. Whichever one he picks is going to have good times and bad times.IMO the QB should be Isler.

The Enquirer today stated that Coach B considered Isler the "front runner." This team needs a decision not a "front runner." Give the quarterback a vote of confidence and the support of the coach. Then get down to work with that quarterback and the offense. We saw who threw the ball best, got the most first downs, and moved the team down field for a touchdown. The offense needs time to gel with one quarterback (not a revolving door of quarterbacks). If not, by game ten; there may be no playoffs or one and done. At Cov Cath, expectations go further than being satisfied to make the playoffs.

The radio announcers bashed the undecided quarterback topic. They felt that someone needed to be decided upon.
