mmmbc you need to stop worrying about Coach Hicks and the Bath County Basketball program. We are very excited to have Coach Hicks here. But for your information - Joe Mabry (6'4" junior) Transfer from Rowan Co. was ruled eligible by the KHSAA a couple of weeks ago. Now we can go 6'4" with Mabry and 6'5" with Scott Trusty.

mmmbc why are you so jealous of Coach Hicks. He is not at Greenup anymore. You never have anything but negative things to say about him. He did a good job at Greenup. The kids loved him and played hard for him. He had the program in great shape. He had four straight winning seasons and was coming off a district championship. Now he is here at bath working harder than any coach that I have ever seen. The community is excited, and the kids all love him. I spoke with him the other day and he had nothing but good things to say about greenup and he said that he hoped coach leach had success and he hopes the administration supports him better than they supported him, because it is about the kids. I have been around basketball all my life and I can honestly say that coach Hicks will have our program at the top of the 16th region.

mmmbc - as I recall Coach Hicks was 4-1 when he stopped coaching last year. The year before that he was 19-11 with a district championship. Now you are not suggesting that greenup is going to post a better record than that this year are you. Like I said in an earlier post you need to stop worrying about Coach Hicks and worry about greenup.

RH for three: It doesn't sound like mmmbc is jealous... just sounds like someone who was around with the program. As far as you saying "the kids loved him" asked some past players..... and as far as his four straight winning seasons.......take a look back at the schedules they played. Don't take a genius to figure that one out:lol: I hope the kids have a great year at Bath Co. and your statement about Coach Hicks having your program at the top of the 16th.....looking forward to seeing your schedules in the future.
