July 6, 200719 yr Author Here is one we just got on 6/22 from a different farm. It is tough to tell but it is an 8.
July 6, 200719 yr Woodsrider, after viewing all your great pics I think you have convinced me to get a trail cam. It appears to give you an insight as to what is around your stand area and lets you be selective about which one to look for. Another plus is that it is always fun to look at pics of deer. Thanks for sharing your pics.:thumb: Shoot straight and often.

July 10, 200719 yr Just curious - What triggers the camera to "shoot" the picture", and what determines how far away the target will be??? I assume some sort of a motion detector and probably a pre-determined setting. Is that right???
July 12, 200719 yr Author The camera I have has a motion detector. Some higher end models have a combination of a heat sensor and motion detector. This eliminates weeds or limbs from activating the camera. The distance is factory set, at least on mine it is. I believe pretty much all of them it is. If you are thinking about getting one check out chasingame.com. They have great info on just about every model you can think of. They buy a new model when it comes out and then run field test on them. They post a review, trigger times, day and night pics taken with the camera, and show pic quality at different distances. It is a great site.
