I might be wrong but I can't remember my "My Old Kentucky Home" being played before the state title games the last few years. When I played in the title game I can clearly remember the grand ole song being played in the pre-game festivities. Why was this tradition ever stopped? Unless I am missing something, I really wish they would start playing it again.

Yes they usually have a high school choir sing it prior the National Anthem.

Heck that's nothing, When we were playing my senior year in Lexington at the Thoroughbred bowl against Danville we had Happy Chandler sing my old kentucky home before the pregame. You want to talk about chills!!!!!!
