Roger Babb went 6 1/3 for Bellevue. Nunn started and went 6 for Gallatin. The Wildcats came out smoking with the bats and put 3 on the board in the top half of the 1st. Bellevue came back in the bottom half to post 4 runs. Gallatin's Davis hit a two run bomb in the second and Bellevue answered with 3 in the bottom half. Things settled sdown a bit thereafter as Bellevue put another run on the board in the 5th. Gallatin threatened in the top half of the 7th with the tying run at the plate and two on but hit into a tag play to end the ballgame.

Gallatin 6 runs 11hits 3 errors

Sounds like this Babb kid is stepping up. How big is he? All around athlete it sounds like with him being the football team's QB and also part of the Basketball team.

6' 2" 180 very, very athletic. Excellent leaper in basketball, strong arm in both football and baseball. QB for the football team. Pitches, catches plays third and first for the baseball team. 3 home runs and 17 RBI's so far this season. He is stepping it up indeed.

Is Tony Piper pitching for the Tigers this year? What about David Combs-Z ?? How are these boys doing???
