It's essentially two complete movies, one by Rodriguez called "Planet Terror" about zombies and the 2nd film is by Tarentino and that is called "Death Proof" about a psycho ex stunt man in a "death proof" car. Mixed in with the film are several "fake trailers" for coming attractions, the films are loaded with scratches and burn marks, to make the films feel like something from the 70's. One of the reasons why it hasn't done well financially is because it is over 3 hours long, since each film is a COMPLETE film in and of itself.

May 5, 200719 yr cool.....I'm watching The Rock on HBO, lol When Nicolas Cage was in his "action star" mode. lol Although I guess you can consider Ghost Rider an action film. Con Air Face/Off The Rock Gone in 60 Seconds He did all 4 of those films in a span of just a few years.
May 5, 200719 yr It's amazing, if you are a fan of Rodriguez and Tarantino you won't be disappointed. Eli Roth and Edgar Wright are wanting to expand their "fake trailers" in between the double feature into full length movies and make that a Grindhouse 2. Only problem is Grindhouse has really bombed financially and will have a hard time making back its budget. So when Grindhouse 2 is done, it just needs to be on a much smaller budget. I am a fan of both. I will definitely have to check it.

May 5, 200719 yr It was ok. The Da Vinci Code was better, but I wasn't a huge fan of either. I like non-fiction better anyhow, but I've been reading more fiction just for kicks lately.
