Well I would agree with CovCath, because I saw them play a couple times and they were very well coached. But Covington Holmes accomplished a lot and I think their coach did a good job getting his team to weather the storm they had and get to as far as they did.

 

Agree CovCath's Mike Listerman is a fine coach, but he's another who is blessed year in, year out with some of the best talent in the area!! I said Covington (actually Taylor Mill) Scott's Brad Carr who had a remarkable year with far less talent than Holmes or CovCath!! Believe it or not there are teams in the Covington area other than CovCath & Holmes!!

Congrats to coach Hicks. Well deserved. I also want to give praise to coach Scott Humphrey of GRC...Beat Mason Co..at Mason to win the 10th region. Made it to the final 8 of the State tourney, when many did not expect him to win the region. Proud of you coach.:thumb:

The LHL had an article this morning about coach of the year. There were 38 different coaches recieving votes this season. Who does everyone think it should be?

I think Ballard's coach's name is Chris Renner.

Billy Hicks is one of the greatest coaches in the state. Have known him since he played high school ball at Evarts. He also has a wonderful wife and two wonderful children. Have never seen anyone work any harder than Billy.
