Boone County improved to 6-0 this season with a 10-5 win at Highlands. Nick Houlehan went the first 5+ for Boone to pick up his second win of the year. Garrett Wander earned the save with 2 innings of relief work. Mark Reed, Nick Houlehan, and Brad Krohman each drove in 2 runs for Boone. Highlands hung tough behind Pat Allen the first 3, but his defense crumbled behind him in Boone's 6 run 4th. A non-official book at the game had Highlands with 6, maybe more, errors, 4 of them in the 4th alone.

Heard the game was a whole lot closer than what the score would indicate. One inning of " '67 Mets" baseball cost the ever improving Birds! Congrats BC, learn from mistakes HHS...keep improving for the end of year tourney!
