Walton opens the season and the new field with a win. On a bigger note Hopperton throws a perfect game with 10Ks in 5 innings. He may be one of the best to come out of Walton by the time it is all said and done.:ylsuper:

Dayton finally got around to hiring a coach about a week ago, so they have had very few practices. Also, they were missing people because someone dropped the ball and didn't inform the coach (para professional)of necessary physicals and paperwork. What will the man in charge of athletics think of next?:irked: To answer the question though, not sure whether Walton's good, or Dayton's bad under the scenario that took place Monday.

I do know Dayton was going against Waltons best pitcher, and maybe one of the best in NKY.
