How many Scott Co. and Ballard players also play Football?

Featured Replies

I am curious about this because after watching them this weekend, they seem like true basketball players and nobody really looks like they go both ways.

Matt Walls could be a big time D-1 quaterback or punter but decided to give it up for basketball. Bud mackey also played conerback.

Jimmy Warren (#32 in basketball) played football for Scott County if I remember correctly. I think he brought a football mentality to the basketball court.

Did Mackey play football this past season? I know he played his sophmore year along with Rodney Haddix.

no Walls and Mackey sat out last season. Yes I forgot about Jimmie Warren. Jimmie is one heck of a footbal player.

Senior Chris James was a member of the football team before tearing his ACL. The kid played hard the few minutes he was able during this state tournament - his knee still swells up after every practice.

For Ballard Jonathon Gholson ( receiver ,preferred walk on at UK) ,TJ Pryor (starting QB), Eddie Studdard, Andre Gardner (receiver) and Marcus Miller. Miller and Gholson had great seasons in their one and only year of varsity football at BHS. Gholson is attending UK as a walkon.

Matt Walls was actually the goalie for Scott Co. soccer team.
