Ouch, that ref blew that one. He gave a timeout to Lightfoot of Central as he was jumping out of bounds, which if I'm not mistaken, they did away with this year.

Monie Hudson charged with a Technical Foul!

Just watched the clip on my computer. Looks like he said something to the player who'd gotten the charge. The ref closest to him didn't call it so I don't know if he really said anything bad, but he shouldn't have even put himself in that spot.

15 - 14 with Ballard up 1st quarter. The two backcourt stars, Beckham and Hamilton, did not score in the 1st quarter. Not sure if this is a good sign or not for WC.

Warren Central comes out pumped! 21 to 17 as WC takes the lead.

25-21 Central at the 3:01 mark. Ballard is still very active forcing turnovers.

In fact, Ballard has now forced two straight turnovers without Central getting even to the three point line. 25-23 Central, 2:53, we're at the under 3 timeout.

Each team has led by as much as 6 in what has been a back and forth game so far.

 

I'd call it an entertaining game so far, but I'm so very nervous that I haven't enjoyed much.

Too many turnovers by Central thus far. They're up to 12 in the first half. It's very telling that they've shot 15% better than Ballard but trail by 4.

Central's in it, that's really all I asked for at the beginning of the game.

Joe Hood, who was 8/10 from three coming in, is only 1/4 now and that is after he hit his first shot. Several have been open looks. His production was a big boost in the first two games, and they need him to find his shot to take pressure off of the other Dragons.

 

Anderson has 13 at the half, as does Stanley of Ballard.
