Holmes Scott Co. Updates

Featured Replies

Lol...Broadcaster interviews SC Coach Billy Hicks at the half. He says: Their fouling us, were not getting any calls.

Truth of the matter is though that he's probably right, but the inverse is also true. I think Scott County has gotten away with a lot. They didn't call a single foul in the first 10 minutes of the game. The first foul called was a charge on Holmes. Which means it was a looooong time before the defense of either team ever picked up a foul against them.

So, is Hicks worried that if they let em play, his Team could be at a disadvantage?

Lol....2 fouls called on Holmes 15 seconds in to the 3rd. Jefferson has 3

I don't know, but I will say this: Holmes' player have been described to me as glorified linebackers at times. They bump. A LOT.

Scott County extending their lead a little bit. Quick 6-1 run has the lead up to 9 at 38-29.

10 fouls have been called in the first 5 minutes of this quarter, which is more than all of last half.

Holmes in big trouble

SC up 11 late in the 3rd...Jefferson has 4 fouls.

45-31 SC with less than a minute in the 3rd.

Austin Hill has 3 fouls as well.

You can see that the Bulldogs are getting frustrated.

Foul total up to 15 for the half.

47-32 Scott County as they are on a 15-4 blitz. The game is likely over as we head to the 4th.

22 Duran Jefferson 0/1 0/1 0/2 1 2as 1 6-TO 5-fouls 0pts

Jefferson fouls out and has a rather poor outing, not looking good for the Cov boys.....

53-43 SC with 5 minutes to go.

Nope...Scott Co. just to strong. You sure can't turn the ball over and miss FT's against a Team like SC.

Scott County has 47 shots compared to Holmes' 31 shots, as well as an SC rebounding edge 30-23.

FG 3P FT RB AS ST TO PF PT

Holmes Bulldogs 11/23 4/8 9/14 23 5 6 21 15 43
Scott County 16/36 2/11 15/18 30 9 6 14 16 53

Holmes just doesn't take care of the ball well enough. It is 57-48 and after draining a three a second ago they got the ball back on the inbounds. But they threw it away immediately, squandering what may have been their last gasp chance to get back in.
