We lost our QB too

We do have a "promising" QB named Bishop. Someone with more info can give it but locker room talk has him at throwing a tight spiral to all sides for 50 yards!!!!! Not bad for a sophomore, in a running system.

Yes, but he is raw meat not much experience.

There sure is alot of teams that run it 45 times a game and win. Rock, Bell, Belfry, Matney coached teams, Mercer, Russell, Lynn Ray coached teams, Danville. Just to name a few.

What is being suggested is solely related to the Rock. There is a correlation for Rockcastle County between the years that they have a balanced attack and years that they experience success.

I'm sure that QB Bishop is more than capable of handling that job for the Rock. We all know it's going to be smashmouth football with a lot of hand-offs behind Daughtery and Thacker.

I think so many people forget that for the past 7 years, Rock hs thrown for over 2,000 yards 5 years. In 2000, they threw for almost 1700 and last year about 1000. Other than those two years, Rock has been consistent in running and throwing. But last year they racked up over 4500 yards rushing.

Long time no hear, 3wishes

Coach Hilton will have his Bobcats ready to play this year, as always. He has more talent this year than he has had in several years.

Welcome, trailblazer. Can use some extra Bobcat support when going up against these guys on here! LOL! You will enjoy the dialogue with the Rockcastle faithful. Welcome back, 3 Wishes. Rockcastleraiders, we look forward to another exciting year of Bobcat vs. Rocket football. Y'all have to come to our house this year. Hope we can make you welcome and be as nice to you in victory as you were to us last year! LOL! Rock fans are great and were nice to Bell folks up there. Those were two great games, both teams played with a lot of heart. Unfortunately, the Rock played with a lot more "pounds" ha! Hopefully, the "scales" will be a little more balanced. Should be a lot of fun for hopefully 2 games on Log Mountain this year.

TomLandry, a class act and a class act coach. We may have had the scales tipped last year, but it looks like the experience belongs to you this year. Hopefully the toe heads can block because I don't know many of these guys, and I graduated in 06:eek:

Bell will surely miss Slusher, but will return ALL starting skill players. Heavy on the Sophomores last year. Look for solid team with some young players with size to join them.
