Yeah I agree Coach K has a nice backup in place, but with Tubby its like he throws all of his marbles with one or two guys. What I dont get is why dont he go after him a couple solid big guys because he defintley needs it. But just to make myself clear Im no way a Tubby basher I like the guy as a coach, but that is the biggest problem I can see with this staff.
March 20, 200719 yr Coach K doesn't have a "backup"... Coach K has a class that's already awesome (3 McDonalds All Americans... Those usually seem to work out for Duke), and Patterson would just be... As GT said, icing on the cake. Duke really has no need for him that I see. He'd be the All-American at the end of the bench that transferred after a season IMO.

March 20, 200719 yr I've never heard that, but I've never really asked anyone about it either... Do a little digging if you can, as I was told by someone who is close to some on the staff.
