I live in Eastern Ky, and I was wondering, who made the 10th region Hall Of Fame this year. I use to live in the 10th and I appreciate the facts.

EKU and Morehead State should have been horse whipped for not offering Burtner as scholarship.

I have played against Wes many times and he has one of the purest shots I have ever witnessed. He lead Belmont in scoring for 4 straight seasons and is their all-time leading scorer(D-1 era).

Great kid too. I traveled to Belmount to watch him play. Great friends with my son, they are the same age.

Also well deserved for Terry DeCappio..or here at GRC we call him Capp. He is a icon with ALL GRC sports.

Can anyone tell me how Chris Mullins got in before Preston LeMaster from Bourbon Co, Kevin Reinhardt from Campbell Co, and Robert Myrick from Mason Co??? Just wondering what he did to get in so early than these other guys that graduated in the same class as he did. Not knocking the kid or anything because was a great player for Montgomery Co i know a lot of players who should have gotten in this yr

I can tell you one that got in this year and deserved it --- CHEZ MARKS! I had the pleasure of getting to know Chez during his tenure at Morehead St. He lived on my floor and became a very good friend of mine and we still keep in contact to this day.

He showed me his scrapbook from high school and boy was he good!

His senior year he shot high 60s from the field with over 200 three pointers. This kid could fill it up... Definately deserving us his Hall of Fame induction.

Maybe the players mentioned weren't nominated by their schools this year. Don't really know, just a thought because I know that the school must nominate players, coaches, and supporters.

Chez was a nice player. I think he could have played at a bigger school than MSU to be honest but hes doing alright for himself right now...I know him personally so hes a great person as well

Did Chez continue playing anywhere after his time at MSU?

I didn't know much about him when he was in the 10th region because it was before my time in the region but I got to see plenty of him at MSU. He was a very nice player.

I can still remember the night when Mr. Marks scored 50+ at Pendleton County and it looked as if he didn't break a sweat.

Is anyone from Bracken Co. in the Hall of Fame???

I think there are a few deserving palyers and coaches

Coach Hammonds should be shouldn't he?

Are you serious? He was in the 10th two seasons... Dont get me wrong, I think Coach Hammonds does a great job, but what did he do in only a short period of time to deserve to be in the 10th region hall of fame?

Just curious...
