Clark County vs Christian County ........ Christian County could be the talk of the Sweet Sixteen ....... South Laurel vs Fairdale .... Shelby Valley vs Elliott County ...... JBS vs Warren Central ....... What do you think or other games that should be good .....

Holmes and Paducah Tilghman should be a dandy. So should GRC and Christian County. They may have to limit overhead air traffic near Rupp when these games are playing.

Scott Co. v/s Oldham is an interesting match up because of the history between these programs - and the anti-Scott Co. attitude of the 8th Region.

Did you know that Coach Hicks never won coach of the year in the 8th? He was 1998 KHSAA state coach of the year, but not in the 8th region. Forrest is a good coach and Oldham has a good program - but this game isn't just two teams from opposite ends of the state trying to get a win. This one is personal. It should be worth watching.

Good info and something for the cards to think about but Scott County by 15 or 20 if they want to ....... I know Oldham and Corbin thing but Scott County and Ballard is just to good ...

I agree ..... Some Great 1st round games ..

Shelby Valley-Elliott County will be entertaining. Two young teams that really get after it. I am looking forward to watching them play. They have played many of the same players against each other in AAU ball dating back to the 6th, 7th and 8th grades. The games were always close and pretty up tempo.

I agree this one should be every entertaing. Going to watch the benches in the Scott Co game... Also looing forward to the SV and Elliott Co game. I am really excited about this state tourney.:banana:
