Yes, that's what you deserve to be called. You had an excellent year, and wherever you end up, I'm sure you'll do well. I saw you play at Holmes last weekend, and you played a great game. It's a shame to see your season end so early, but it tends to happen if a team can focus on shutting down one player. If your early departure ends your run as a Mr. Basketball candidate, then it's a travesty. We've had at least a couple in the last couple of years that could not play on the same court with you. Good luck sir.

Early departure and no regional game knocks him our of Mr. Basketball contention.

I agree with this part of the post 100%.

I hope "Mr. Pettigrew" goes on to have a great college career. (I still think he's a better player than Bobby Perry and Sheray Thomas). Good luck.

No way UnderPar!!!!!!

And you're right Yoda. There may not have been a dry eye in the house the other night at Rupp, but it wasn't because everyone was so sad to see the seniors go.

Rex Chapman's team also lost in the first round of the district tournament his senior year, but he was undeniably the best player in the state as is Steffphon this year. :fight:
