9th Region Tournament Dates and Times

I have been told the dates and times for the 9th Regional Tournament are the following:

 

March 7-8 (WED & THU) 6:00 and 7:45….March 12th (MON) 5:30 and 8:00 March 13th (TUE) 7:00 championship

 

Anyone know why they changed the days these games are played from last year. Last year the first round was played on Monday and Tuesday, semis were on Friday and Finals on Sat.

Not sure but it might have to do with the extra week that the teams will have because the Sweet Sixteen was moved back a week because of the NCAAs.

The girls Regional and state tourneys are first this year, due to the Boys state tourney needing to go a week later than normal because the NCAA tourney is using Rupp for the first rounds of the tourney.
