Thoughts?

Lloyd won pretty easily earlier this season by double digits. However Ludlow's lineup has changed since then. In the first meeting Kyle Williamson didn't play that much, but has been one of the best players on the team this year, and also Joe Gier was also out for that game. These two players are two of the key inside players for Ludlow this year. Lloyd is definitely the favorite for this game and should win because this years Ludlow team is in a rebuilding year. However with those players I mentioned playing this time for Ludlow it could be a better game. And not the mention the wild card in this matchup is Coach Highfield who has a 3 year streak in baseball and basketball in making the region. His teams always just seem to find away to make the region, so anything can happen in this game...

I will take Lloyd by 10 at home. Coach Key has the boys playing together, and they are chompin at the bit to see the regionals.

This year yeah it is, but last year it wasn't. It just didn't help the district this year that a couple of the teams are in rebuilding years this year....

maybe on the boys side....but the girls side is better than other girls districts as a whole...

I believe Ludlow will pull off the upset and win by 3. Good luck to both teams.

Ludlow and Villa are both rebuilding. This district is a blind draw. Dixie will walk in to the regional every year no matter who they play. Ludlow should be stronger next year, they are still adjusting from the loss of their big guys. Villa starts 5 Juniors this year, so they have some talent coming back next year. They lost to lloyd by 5 and split with Ludlow. They should be able to get into the regional next year as long as they do not draw Dixie. This is a weak district this year, but I think next year all of these teams will suprise some people.

Dixie got almost as good a redraw as Mason County!! Regarding this game to determine who becomes cannon fodder for probably one of the 35th teams, Lloyd in a hand-ride!!
