It is a shame AABC has gone away in your area . There is always the chance to play in the league in this area . This league has teams from all over as it was stated . If you are just lookig to play great teams it can be worked out . The teams work with each other to schedule games . The dayton area team came down last year and set it up play 2 teams from this area back to back .You can also set it up like a tourney without all the extras . Play 2 teams on Sat , stay the night and play 2 teams on Sun .

These teams are very good . The team from Middletown won the tourney at Cooperstown , NY. as 12's and other teams from this league have gone up there and faired very well against teams from all over the country and players from all the world . If you have been there you know what I mean .

It is amazing to watch the kids grow over the years . I CAN'T WAIT TO HERE PLAY BALL THIS YEAR . Best of luck to all of these young men .

In Northern kentucky and the Greater Cincy area AABC is nothing more than just a reference. The league is actually called the Southwest Ohio Baseball League, It is a multi-saction league with AABC just being one the many affiliations it has. Some of the others are USSSA, Pony, Barret Flethcer, Hap Dumont, CABA, Babe Ruth, NABF and NSA. In 14 and under there are 48 teams seperated into 3 division. I dissagree the past three years Harrison Co. has been runnerup to S.E.Lex.

in the cal Ripkin 12 year old state all-stars.

I do agree the numbers are down but I believe that the quality is still high.

Harrison Co. had a 8th grader through a perfict game last year against Deming

in the district tourn.

At times last year the breds started three 8th graders.

Harrison Co also has a lravel team called Ky. Terror this wiil be the third year

for this team and they have never finished worse then second in any tourn.

They will play as 12 year olds this year.

So i think the feeder program is still strong.

 

The Harrison County feeder program is progressively dropping each year. I have been around it for 25+ years and believe me it is no where close to what it used to be.

King Middle School feeds Mercer County. Their record over the past 5 years is ridiculous...(someone can follow up with exact numbers) Their Little League is top notch, and Morse Mustangs is the travel team for most age groups. Not bad for a small area.

Owensboro Southern Little League feeds Apollo OHS and Owensboro Catholic. Not a bad feeder program!
