February 28, 200719 yr Points are only one aspect of the game... You fail to mention that Lee averages 8 more rebounds than Barbosa, and shoots a much better % from the field. I'd take him over Barbosa personally... His rebounding creates scoring opportunities for others.

Have you looked around the league at the PG's Catch. Barbosa would probably start for half the league as well. The entire league? You gotta be kidding me. Lee is more integral to the Knicks IMO. Nobody else the Knicks have can give the kind of effort and efficiency of Lee. I wouldnt bet against Banks, Jones, Jones or Rose being able to do most of the things Barbosa does if he werent there. Barbosa is very good, but not as important as Lee. Do the Suns get the boost the Knicks get by bringing in Barbosa for Bell or Nash, like the Knicks get when they bring in Lee for Frye? No way. Again, check out the efficiency ratings that you provided. I love the Suns, but Lee gets my vote.

How can you give the sixth man award to a guy that has not helped his team get to .500 atleast ? You can say the other players suck & the coach sucks but the team does not even have a winning record & in order to get the 6th man award I think you atleast need to be on a winning team.

They have lost more games than they have won.

February 28, 200719 yr You can't punish Lee for being on a bad team. He does his part... The other guys don't do theirs. Exactly. He is a sixth man, its not like he is expected to do it on his own. Barbosa is in the situation that he has 3 all-stars on his team. How many does Lee have? To this you might say, "well he should start." To that I say Isaiah is in love with Channing Frye and again, it is Isaiah. Lee would do the same on any team with the same amount of minutes. I'm sure he is ready to get out of there. Oh, did I mention Lee is more efficient than Barbosa.

February 28, 200719 yr Author Ok...you guys come back to me on this subject at the end of the season & we will see who wins the sixth man award.

February 28, 200719 yr Author Giving up? Nope. I know I'm right so there is no point in arguing. Barbosa will win the sixth man award because he will be on 1 of the top 2 teams in the league. Lee will not win the award because he is on a terrible team. We can come back to this at the end of the season & see who was right. :thumb:

He may win it, but it wont be b/c he was the better sixth man. It will be b/c he was a very good sixth on a very good team. In this case, I think Stackhouse should get the award.:sssh:
March 2, 200719 yr ok. See what I mean, just b/c he is on the better team, he's the better sixth man?
