Casey Dalton had 30 points in the win. The final score was not indicitive of the game. It was an8 piont game at the half and a 12 point game with about 2 min to go in the 3rd quarter but SW went on a run and pushed the lead to 20+ points. With about 6 min to go in the game and both teams emptied their bench.

 

The Knox Central 6'5" freshman ( Miller I think is his name) will be a good player before its all said and done.

Not a suprise that the Panthers lost, but this ended up a real blow-out. Cody Miller can become a solid player, already is for the most part, Knox Central should be a better TEAM IMO than they have showed this year.

My Panthers are really struggling right now. This is a bad time of the year for this to happen. I agree Breeze, that Central should be a better TEAM than they have showed this year. However, that is what generally happens when you play so many young kids. Not to mention, Elam plays a pretty good schedule.

It sounds like the wheels may be coming off at Knox. They were playing real well earlier. They have regressed since the big win against Corbin.

The two teams have gone in opposite directions since that game. Corbin is 9-1 with the only loss a 67-60 defeat at the hands of South Laurel while Knox Central has gone 4-5.

 

All of the losses will be forgotten if Knox can beat Barbourville in the district though.
