Apollo goes across town to Daviess County. Apollo is 4-5 and Daviess County is 1-8.

Who ya got?

Apollo should be the clear favorite here. On paper, Apollo has the talent advantage and should be able to control this game. That said, this is a crosstown rivalry, and Daviess County is going to come in ready to give Apollo its best shot.

The biggest key for Apollo is not letting DC hang around early. Rivalry games can get weird fast if the underdog gains confidence. If Apollo plays clean, starts fast, and handles business, its overall talent should take over.

Tossup.

I've seen years where Apollo should be the clear favorite and DC pulls one out, and I've seen years where DC was a clear favorite and Apollo wins a close one. If it turns into a blowout, it's Apollo. If they don't jump out ahead quickly, it'll be a dog fight, but I still think Apollo has the edge.

The real concern for both coaches is that cooler heads must prevail. This one often turns nasty, but the game itself means nothing other than bragging rights. I don't think either team wins a playoff game, but they sure don't win one with any of their starters serving suspension.

Looks like things are going from bad to worse at DC. You have to have membership to read the article but the headline says the DC coach is on administrative leave.
