A win by Somerset clinches the district, while Monroe still has a district match-up with Green County remaining on the schedule. The Falcons, after graduating a very good senior class, has been better than expected this season. The Briar Jumpers have steamrolled their district competition thus far, outscoring their district goes by a combined score of 165-0. The teams have two common opponents: both teams had a running clock win against Clinton County, Somerset defeated Metcalf County 42-0 while Monroe defeated the Hornets 28-6. Both teams are coming off of their Bye weeks. The Briar Jumpers are a prohibitive favorite in this one, but the Falcons are at home.
