Second leg of district games continue this week with the Chargers traveling to Okolona to take on the Trojans.

East is coming off a 52-12 victory over a suspension depleted Fern Creek team. Southern fell in their district opener to Male 43-0.

East has had a solid year falling only to Bowling Green and a very good Manual team this year and winning their other 5 games. Southern has struggled, as they often do, to a 1-5 record winning only the opening game of the season against Doss. Southern actually has only scored in two of its games this season and have been blanked their last three games straight.

Male will beat Fern Creek this week, and East will win this one so the district title will be decided a week from Friday in Mt Washington. But we will let them play out as they should. Should be a quick one on Friday.

    Final was 49-6 Bullitt East. Unable to attend this one. Sorry. Went as expected.

    Bullitt East did lose one of its two RB’s that gets significant carries. Leg injury, done for the season and will need surgery. Hate it for him. Just a Jr., but it will be difficult to make it back for next year full strength. Just hate it for him.
