The Cardinals Travel to Bulldog stadium to take on John Hardin (2-5), Friday night.

John Hardin comes off of a bye week and a blowout loss to Bethlehem, 41-7. A game in which they were dominated on both sides of the ball by a very solid 1A program.

Bethlehem rushed for 147 yards led by RB Jalen Del Valle with 15 carries for 111 yards. They passed for 189 yards led by Michael Crigler 76 yards receiving.

Taylor County comes into this game after a bye week, with a loss to Nelson County 37-0.

Taylor County (3-4), is led by QB Zach Benedict who has passed for 716 yards on the season. His leading receiver is Jaelyn Anderson 356 yards on 26 receptions.

On paper, these two teams appear to be evenly matched. Whomever wins the turnover battle will probably prevail. John Hardin's P/PK Ashton Russell has a strong leg and can routinely punt the ball 40 plus yards. He could also determine the outcome of this game with his ability to kick FG from 40 plus yards out.

My Prediction: John Hardin rebounds this week with a close victory, 24-21 over Taylor County.

Pretty sure I saw somewhere Benedict is out for the season with an injury. Tough loss for Taylor Co.

I'll take Taylor County.
