Pretty big 6A District 1 matchup this week as Henderson County travels to Christian County.

Henderson come into this one 3-4 on the season with wins against Henry Clay, Daviess County, and Central Hardin & losses to Pulaski, Madisonville, Gibson Southern, and GRC. Offensively they average 34.9 ppg and give up 31ppg. They are led by Dual Threat QB Brody Belt who is coming off a heck of a game against GRC last Friday night.

Christian County comes into this one off their bye week 2-4 with wins vs McKenzie TN & Daviess County while their losses were Cooper, Mayfield, South Warren, and Frederick Douglass. The Tigers average 25.8 ppg while giving up 31.1 ppg. They are led by JR QB McCarley and a stable of RB's and WR's.

The winner assures themselves of at least 1 home game and a district title matchup vs McCracken while the loser is staring at a 3 seed in the district (Which may not be the worst thing in the world to avoid a round 2 matchup at South Warren.)

Who ya like? Thoughts? Opinions?

TP94 Power Ratings from last week

We looked at this game for a contest game, I think it should be a good one!

Christian Co. 35-28.

I like Henderson County in this one.

Bump.

37-33 Henderson County wins in a thriller. The Tigers roughed the punter up 33-30 late in the 4th. Henderson then went down and scored.

The Tigers got the ball inside the 15 but were stopped on downs to end it. Tigers Starting QB McCarley did not play due to injury tonight.
