And there is an issue that I have with FS's decision making. FS scores to close within 35-14. A penalty on PT allows FS to kick off at the PT 45. Wouldn't the smart play be to at least try an onside kick and steal a possession? Instead FS kicks it into the end zone and PT promptly gets an 80 yard TD bomb. What difference is it if PT starts at their own 20 or around the 35 if they recover the onside kick? None whatsoever. Also FS running the double handoff play which led to one of their fumbles, a play which worked 7 or 8 years ago but hasn't since. Also on FS's punt attempt early in the game when it was still close, they didn't even try to draw PT offsides on the punt. Very frustrating. FS wasn't going to win this game anyway, but at least they could have kept it closer longer.

In the time it took me to type this, PT scored twice more.

I agree. You summed it up perfectly. Might not win, but maybe could have kept it closer with different decisions. At least give it a try.

Last year the Wildcats ran for nearly 200 yards on the road in the regular season matchup. 49-14 when they made the trip later that season in November. FS graduated a lot from last season, they did br

  • I believe that WR Chance McPike will return for the Tornado this week. He is an Austin Peay commit. I think he'll be 100%.

I predicted 56-14 but I didn't think that would be the halftime score. PT's offense has been amazing so far. As others have said FS has had some good plays on offense and has been moving the ball well

Another fumble. PT another recovery. FS just can't hold on to the ball.

PT 56 FS 14

Halftime

Edited by TilghmanPride

Tilghman tonight has played a much more disciplined game without all the mistakes I saw them make last year vs. FS. The Wildcats have actually moved the ball pretty well when they can hold on to it.

I predicted 56-14 but I didn't think that would be the halftime score. PT's offense has been amazing so far. As others have said FS has had some good plays on offense and has been moving the ball well on the ground just too many mistakes that PT has been able to take advantage of. The broadcast by the FS guys is fantastic. You have to respect the FS program.
