Had a chance to watch the replay. My takes:

1) Elder is a really good team.

2) The Elder offense looks more dynamic than last season's version. Teams will be forced into the decision of keeping an extra man in the box to defend against the run or keeping a man back to limit long plays/help in pass coverage.

3) Elder's defense looked about the same. Their weakness is in the secondary and CovCath was able to move the ball through the air.

4) The CovCath special teams are a work in progress. Things that popped up in the scrimmage with NewCath still need corrected.

5) The Colonels battled until the end. Still unsure what the first two games of the season tell us about how the season will play out, but some nice pieces that will continue to get better as the season moves along.

I think the Colonels have a very good chance in this game. I already purchased my on line ticket to watch it in my house 300 miles away...LOL.
