Coach Anderson has announced his retirement.  He mentioned starting his long career in the fall of 1983.  The Lions went to the Sweet Sixteen this past season.

Coach Randy Anderson has resigned as Boyd County Head Coach for Boys Basketball. He is coming off a trip to the Sweet 16 this past season. Congratulations on a long and productive career to Coach Anderson.

Anyone know of any favorites for the position? This is good school and good job. Could attract an established head coach. If you recall, Coach Anderson himself was hired as an existing head coach at Lawrence County when he first arrived at Boyd.
