Giants Cut Petitgout, Arrington, Emmons

Featured Replies

The Giants now have a lot of holes to fill, thankfully they have plenty of cap space to do it. It's obvious Reese is looking to get younger, less injury proned players.

He's looking to win NOW. No more no less...

That's what you do in the NFL these days...win NOW...or go home.

These are all Reese's decisions, made to benefit the team now, and even more so in the long run. He wants to build a younger, healthier team. Coughlin's future is not what these decisions are based on. But yes, I agree that Coughlin is hanging on by a thread...but one good season and a win or two in the playoffs next year...and he'll get an extension.

If they are GM moves devoid of Coach input we'll have a Chargers situation soon enough. Reese is pulling the trigger, but he's doing so with input from the guy on the box with a noose tied tight. You're implying that the coach isn't a part of what went down. We both know that's wrong...

Neither of us "know" either way for sure.

I never said he was making any moves without Coughlin's input, I'm saying he's going to make the moves he wants to make...because he wants to build a different team. There is a reason Coughlin didn't do great as a part time GM in Jax . Reese probably takes Coughlins input...but he is going to make the decisions he wants to make ultimately IMO...
