Campbell Co shot 33 0f 53 (62%) from the field with Jon Verst leading the scoring with 22, Petey Albrecht with 19 and Pat Nerl with 18. Camels pushed the ball up the court and played a much more up tempo offense. Still lacking in defense giving Simon Kenton many open and easy shots. Turnovers hurt the Camels again giving Simon Kenton at least 12 points off of turnovers. Stupid mistakes by the Camels at the end of the first half gave Simon Kenton the lead 47-43. Camels outscored them 41-40 in the second. Very physical game played by the Simon Kenton, jersey holding, elbows, handchecking etc. Refs let them play. Great screen set by Albrecht on Ponzer, not sure he knew what he ran into! (Legal screen, I might add) Camels are getting better.

These Camel sophomore's are pretty darn good and fun to watch. That was the 4th game that I have seen the Camels play and if they could get away from the turnovers they would have a much better record.

I agree with that. If you didn't get a hand in their face they didn't miss.

I wasn't calling it girly, and if you knew something about basketball you would realize what I meant. I was explaining why the kid that was screened was out of it. A girl screen is when you cover your chest(delicate area on females). A boy screen is when you cover your lower region(delicate area on a male). Basically don't try to denote a post when you don't know what you're talking about. The kid ran into an elbow, it was legal because the screener was planted and not moving.

You could have said that Ponzer caught an elbow to the face because the man's elbows were up high, and I've seen a fair amount of players pick with their hands up and their elbows flared out because it gives them a wider base up top to make contact with a player from the other team. It is not the traditional way to setting a pick, but I have seen it done before. Calling it a girl screen is a means of describing it sure, but it also has the effect of lessening the value of the play.

I wasn't lessening the value of the play, I was describing it. Also, the elbows weren't flared out they were infront of his body, I know you didn't see it. The comment was meant to describe what happened and why the kid was hurt. You seem to be the only one that had a problem with it, but as STRIKE3 said I'll drop it.
