The No. 4 Cardinals (27-4) will face Scott in Monday's semifinals.

The Wildcats close with a record of 17-13.

The Wildcats had a great gameplan to start the night, only trailing by 9 at the break.   GRC emerged from the locker room and shot it at a blistering pace (72.4%).  On the flip side, Pendleton was held to just 6 FG after the break, which gets us to the final margin.

Malachi Ashford led 5 GRC Cardinals with 18 points, while Jazi Grayson and Kam O' hara led Pendleton with 16 points apiece. GRC advances to Monday's Region Semis against Scott.  The Wildcats season ends at 17-13, with their first District Championship since 2018.  Seniors Dawson Nichols and RJ Sanders played their final game for Pendleton.

What on earth happened to the effective game plan that they got outscored 33 points in the second half?

GRC's length and size really started causing issues.  When the Cats were able to get a look, it just didn't fall.
