Coach Covin is a 1998 North Hardin grad and a member of the NHHS Hall of Fame class of 2023. He played college football at Morehead State University prior to enlisting in the Army. Covin currently works on base at Fort Knox, runs a mentorship and guidance nonprofit called F.I.S.T. (Fighting Individual Situations Together), and takes over the HFC job at Fort Knox after being head coach at TK Stone Middle School in the Elizabethtown Independent School District.

Congrats Coach Covin!

I talked to him on Thursday and he said his team would be disciplined and his off -season weight room regimen would make a difference next season. Great, down- to- earth human being who played against the great Fort Knox teams and RB Derek Homer during his time as a RB at North Hardin. I would love to see Fort Knox return to relevance on the High School football scene in the Hardin County area. Best of luck coach.

Looks like a good hire.  Hopefully he can help make the Eagles competitive.  It is good for the area when they are.
