I was only able to catch the tail end of the livestream on this down to the wire game in Edgewood.

Per Holy Cross Indians Radio:

Holy Cross led by eight heading into the 4th quarter.

Hunter Seng fouled out, putting Luke Arlinghaus on the line. Luke gave the Indians the lead for good on two free throws with 24 seconds left: 52-51.

Amir Henderson went to the charity stripe as Parks Vonderhaar fouled out. Amir iced the game with two more free throws with 11 ticks on the clock, capping off his 6/6 second half: 54-51.

Max Rubemeyer's shot in the final seconds refused to go down for Dixie. 

Holy Cross seems to have caught the injury bug - playing without Ryan Bottom and Brady Gabbard tonight.

Holy Cross improves to 16-4 on the year with a solid road win at Dixie. Congratulations to senior Nate Rominger who went over the 1,000 point mark for his career. He finished with a team-high 14 points. The Indians played without Ryan Bottom (might be out for several games) and Brady Gabbard who went down with about 2 min left in the 3rd and never returned.

That may have been one of the worst/inconsistent, officiated games I've seen all year (both ways).  They went from calling absolutely nothing in the first few minutes to calling a lot, but the lot wasn't consistent at all.  Hunter Seng's 5th foul looked like a clear charge, but was called a block, which was somewhat consistent as they didn't call a single charge all night either way.  The blocking fouls, you could steamroll a guy with no call, but barely make contact and it was a foul.  The head bobs by the offensive players seemed to always draw a foul call on the defender in the 2nd half.  

Amir Henderson is one to keep an eye on these next couple years.  The kid is so quick and can finish around the basket.  I don't know what kind of shot he has as he just attacked the basket when he was in.

Seems to be a common theme this year. I think the 9th region has some of the best officials in the state over the last several years. That being said it seems more games this year have started out being called one way and then changing throughout the game and especially down the stretch in the 4th quarter. Not sure what the answer is as I said I think we have good officials. We've been on both sides of that inconsistency this year. I thought there were several close calls both ways last night in the HC/Dixie game especially down the stretch. Both teams battled hard all night. In the end, It was a solid road win for the Indians who had lost two tough games in a row. Good luck to the Red Colonels the rest of the way.
