Didn't know but there were some fans who were getting mad. However, they had good reason to be.

Well, officating always tightens up late in the season and through the district and region. If you can not guard without holding, tugging, etc. then the opponent will be living at the Free throw line here in a few weeks.

There was like 3 illegal screens called and plenty of very soft bumps and touch fouls called that could have went unnoticed.

I came down to watch Deaton coach tonight and I had never seen so many fouls called in one half of basketball before. I think their was somewhere around 23 fouls in the first half. Like 13 on McCreary and 10 on Whitley!Whitley just couldn't finish, when MC started pressing is when MC took the game over! There were some fans around where I was sitting in the upper area behind the goal that were yelling at the MC fans who were complaining about the refs. SSF that wasn't you yelling, was it? LOL

I was to the point of where I wanted to that kid and just knock him in the face... The man that stood up on the McCreary side and yelled at every call was a players step-father - and he does that at every game. How many five-second calls were called against McCreary in this game? Those referees can count to five seconds a lot faster than the scoreboard can.

Coach Deaton commints on the radio were unreal. The great COACH Deaton saying all pushing, shoving , and cheap shots were all done by Central. WRONG Whitley does their fair share cheap shots and dirty play. Both teams played very physical! Whitley CO. and DEATON got all the calls, and still DEATON COULDN'T GET THE JOB DONE!

 

Sometime during season when keep losing games and big leads time after time, YOU must look at the COACH (DEATON).

I think that there were atleast 3 or 4 of the 5 second calls made last night. Yea i was sittin just to the left of that kid if you were looking from the court and he was getting on my nerves toward the end but it was kinda funny when it first started.

I would have loved to heard that. I didn't listen to the radio after the game, but that seems ridiculous. He has some work to do in Colonel Country..

But those comments don't help me like him - I think he is disrespectful. Go ahead and admit that your team lost to a better team. What's hard about that? Especially since the calls went his way, and his team still wasn't able to win.

There was a lot of fouls called both ways! However, MC's fouls seemed to come at the most convenient times.

I think there was one offensive foul called against Whitley, and that came right after one was called against McCreary. If memory serves me right, McCreary had a 5-1 offensive foul disparity against Whitley County.

I think I saw two... I don't exactly know how many. But they had some awful fouls that the refs considered "pushing off," especially when Phillips (#10) got a rebound and had to chase it on the floor and they said he pushed to get the ball. Obviously, he didn't... but I guess that's what to expect from the 13th region refs.

That was the worst crew I had ever seen! Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't one of the Refs an ex coach from Whitley or that area?
