Covington Holy Cross vs Newport?

Featured Replies

They should have played in the All A tonight, if I read the bracket correctly, but it isn't listed?

Did Newport forfeit the All A game?

I'm thinking they chose not to participate. The game isn't listed on either team's Riherds page.

The Ladycats have only played four games - out of 11 scheduled this season. They play Bellevue, Dayton and New Cath, but not Highlands. They may be dropping out of the Distict tourney?

The original bracket had them on there, playing HC winner tonight.  I guess it was cancelled, versus logging it as a forfeit.

I was told Newport decided to forfeit this game and not play.

HC vs St. Henry on Friday at 7:45 pm. The folks who update the All A brackets were probably waiting for a score to come in not knowing it was forfeited.

I'm surprised HC / Newport wasn't listed on the scoreboard as a 1-0 forfeit victory for the Indians.  That is usually the way those are handled.
